Before computers and e-readers, books were the everyday reading platform, and one of the most commonly used ways to indicate that a book was your book and not someone else’s book was to stamp it with a decorative label known as an ex libris (Latin for “From the books of…”), followed by your name.

This is Albert Einstein’s ex libris. How fucking awesome is that? Most likely a sketch from one of his notebooks, right? I would love to know what Einstein was working on when he drew this.

Is anyone out there? I can’t see many people reading this. Simply because it’s nothing interesting (at the moment). To those of you who are interested, well, I thank you for that. Anyways, why am I creating this (some would say another) blog?

I needed to have a place to write things over 140 characters. To use the power of words to express my feelings about design, marketing, and anything else I feel deserves the key strokes.
